Musings from two haute momma's to another...
This section is especially dear to our hearts since this is the place we really get to brag about our little ones! What mother doesn’t love doing that! From posting about our “mommy moments” to sharing our midnight revelations, this is a place for us to share our "AHA!" moments of motherhood with you all. We really hope that this section will be a go-to resource for expectant mothers, working mothers and even women who want to help support their expectant friends by sharing tips, trends and advice both from ourselves and from the community.

My sister had a baby last year and I thank God everyday that she did it first because now I can definitely wait on it....but Cree and Aden are both adorable -
I am a new mother...my son is three and a half weeks old. I'm sooooo totally in love with him. I think my AHA! moment is recurring. Everytime my husband or I come into the room and begin talking, my baby's face lights up and he turns his head to our voices. It's beautiful! -

Hi, I'm from South Africa and I'm expecting my first child, I will admit that I was ready for a child coz my sister was 6 months pregnant when I found out that I was pregnant. My sister's baby,Luna, is 3 months old and my "aha" moment came when I was baby sitting for her, I gave her a call and put her on loud speaker, and as soon as lil Luna heard her moms voice, her little face lit up and she burst into a beautiful toothless smile. That's when I truly realized that I am ready for my child. I can't wait for my toothless smile moment. 24 Aug seems so far.... -
I'm expecting my first baby, I'm 23 weeks and what was special to me so far is the first time I felt the baby move!!!!! -

Tia and Tamera I love the two of you. You both are a big inspiration to my life. You two let me know that it's ok to enjoy motherhood as well doing your career and love your husband. You guys are the best -
Hello beautiful ladies! My "aha" moment today was from my 10 year old son Jack, I was in bedroom getting changed and he walked in. He asked what the sliver lines on my side were, glowing red I try to explain that they were stretch marks and him and his sister and brother were to blame. His response was "really!! Sorry mum but they do look cool! They look like African markings or something epic like that!!" So from this day on I'm not going to be embarrassed of my stretch marks!! Thank you Jack!xx -

I love you guys...big fan! FTM at 24, beautiful 7 mth old daughter, loving fiancée. I wouldn't trade it for the world. My aha moment is just realizing how much more I love my daughter everyday. She is slowly becoming her own person with her own personality. Although its not easy to work at home and take care of her, I'm thankful to be blessed with not missing any of her firsts, being able to build a strong bond with her, and still being able to provide for her and our family. Everyday I realize all over again that I am someone's mom! Its still surreal... -

Love you two beautiful ladies. My kids played with the two of you in Killeen, Texas. You are wonderful mothers and have adorable son. My Aha moment was when i looked into my kids eyes for the very first time. The bond you have from the time you get pregnant, until the time you give birth and they look in your eyes and give you a priceless smile. Enjoy every moment, they grow so fast... -

My awhhhah moment was when I started working full time while going to graduate school full time and i picked my daughter up from school and she started to talk to me about her day. I realize at that moment I had missed out on so many precious moments because I was so busy doing everything else but what was most important .. now the most special thing i do is pick my daughter up from school and we talk and make dinner together. we even get our nails done and have a mommy and daughter day.. I am so in love with my princess.. Thanks ladies for sharing your stories:) -
I love you girls! My friends always joke that I'm the lost triplet! Anyway, its so beautiful to see you two as mothers. My latest 'aha' moment was speaking to my 13 yr old daughters friend about having a filter when being addressed by adults. Her friend told me how Monica was upset with her for mouthing off at the teachers at school and Monica talked to her about control and maturity. Then she apologized to me for letting me down and for her behavior. I was so proud of my daughter for a) truly listening during our conversations (lol) and b) for correcting her friends negative behavior. My biggest concern when my kids leave home is what they will be influenced by when they leave the protection of our home. Its a comfort to know she is the influence for her friends!
