It's hard to believe my sweet little nephew Aden is already almost 2 months old. I feel like the photo above was taken yesterday! I was so touched reading Tamera's open letter to Aden, and it inspired me to write my own letter of encouragement and love to her. My beautiful Sissy, you are in for the biggest treat of your life - motherhood!! I hope you read these words of love and know that I will be there for you every step of the way.

I love this letter. :) I too have a twin sister and we see many similar characteristics in our relationship as the two of you. My sister got married last year and we just found out at Christmas that she is pregnant, so watching your show always hits close to home. We laugh and cry together at every episode! Thank you for sharing all of your ups and downs with us, it makes us realize that we are not the only crazy twins out there! :) -
Aww this is a wonderful letter, how awesome for you to share with all something so loving and personal. I just had my labor induced due to high temp, and complications. I welcomed my beautiful baby boy 12/13/12 and how wonderful it is to be a mother and I'm a first time mother. I just wish my sister would've been here to share that moment with me also but I now live in GA and she's still in our home town Detroit. I love the bond you guys have I'm watching your show now and my son is staring at Tamera do her pregnant tuss dance. -

It is so amazing to see not one, but two wholesome, real, and strong women like yourselves on tv. It's so refreshing to be able to watch a a reality show that doesn't promote conflict and strife, materialism, and anger, but instead shows women and young girls how to act like they have some sense, class, and how to be positive in all types of situations. I know you both will continue being so amazing as mothers as well!!!! -
You girls are great roll models, and today that is hard to find. I truely admire you both and Please Thank your parents for their part in your awesome development into to two beautiful professional women who are comfortable in their own skin.
You girls crack me up too. HUGS. Keep up the great work, and hug those beautiful children of yours. -
Aw, that is so sweet Tia:) I have a twin sister and we were pregnant at the same time. I was pregnant with my second child Aiden and she was pregnant with her first child Grace; 3 months apart. It is very neat to see your twin go through all the things that you first went through. When I gave birth to my first child Mia my twin had to go into the bathroom as she cannot stand needles and they were having a terrible time finding my vein; agh! She actually got a bruise on her hand where they finally ended up putting the iv into my hand, lol!!
When she had Grace she was having a very hard time getting her to latch on properly and eat. They were both worn out and miserable to the point I offered to come to the hospital and breast feed her myself, lol! Wow! I don't think there is another person I would ever do that for:) It turned out that I didn't have to, but the fact that I was totally willing to speaks so clearly to me of the bond twins share.
I don't have much time to watch a lot of tv, but I MAKE time to watch Tia and Tamera! You guys seriously crack me up just as much as my own twin and that is saying A LOT, ha ha ha:) I just LOVE you guys and how silly you are! You are fun, smart, kind, and full of life! So much better than all the snooty, shallow drama of the rest of "reality" shows! Thanks twins:) -

TWENTY THINGS A MOM SHOULD TELL HER SON
1. Play a sport.
It will teach you how to win honorably,
lose gracefully, respect authority,
work with others, manage your time
and stay out of trouble.
And maybe even throw or catch.
2. You will set the tone
for the sexual relationship,
so don't take something away from her
that you can't give back.
3. Use careful aim when you pee.
Somebody's got to clean that up, you know.
4. Save money when you're young
because you're going to need it someday.
5. Allow me to introduce you
to the dishwasher, oven,
washing machine, iron,
vacuum, mop and broom.
Now please go use them.
6. Pray and be a spiritual leader.
7. Don't ever be a bully
and don't ever start a fight,
but if some idiot clocks you,
please defend yourself.
8. Your knowledge and education is something
that nobody can take away from you.
9. Treat women kindly.
Forever is a long time to live alone
and it's even longer to live with somebody
who hates your guts.
10. Take pride in your appearance.
11. Be strong and tender at the same time.
12. A woman can do everything that you can do.
This includes her having a successful career
and you changing diapers at 3 A.M.
Mutual respect is the key to a good relationship.
13. "Yes ma'am" and "yes sir"
still go a long way.
14. The reason that they're called "private parts"
is because they're "private".
Please do not scratch them in public.
15. Peer pressure is a scary thing.
Be a good leader and others will follow.
16. Bringing her flowers for no reason
is always a good idea.
17. Be patriotic.
18. Potty humor isn't the only thing that's humorous.
19. Please choose your spouse wisely.
My daughter-in-law will be the gatekeeper for me
spending time with you and my grandchildren.
20. Remember to call your mother
because I might be missing you.

It is so so sweet of you to write to your sister. Wish I was able to write something to my sister. I'm not a writer and have a hard time thinking up something as beautiful as your letter to my sister. :s
