I don't always have time to go to the Gym so I incorporate "cardio" in everything I do everyday throughout the day. For example, I walk my dog every morning and instead of just taking my dog out for a quick "potty break", I let her run around and I run around outside with her lol (cardio). At work, since the printer is in another room outside of the office, I always make frequent trips to the printer so im not sitting around all day at my desk(cardio). I make quick small decisions while im out to take the stairs instead of taking the elevator or escalator (cardio). When I'm home and for some reason can't make it to the gym I do a lot of house work cleaning which keeps me going, moving and working out my arms and legs. It becomes a dual success. Not only do I finish with a clean house but I also got a little workout doing it (cardio). I also listen to music a lot and when my song comes on, I'm not afraid to bust out a few moves (of course not while out at the store lol). And dancing around is a form of exercise so while I'm enjoying my song having fun, im also getting a little (cardio)in too. So these are just some ways that I incorporate "cardio" in everything I do everyday with small efforts and they work for me. Once I shared my story and tips with a lot of folks and friends they found it amusing and quite helpful. Cardio ;)

I would have to say my favorite way to stay active is chasing after my four year old grandson and 16 month old granddaughter. Since both of them live with my husband and I, it can be a struggle just keeping up with them on a daily basis after a long day at work. Well worth the effort though :-)

I worked out throughout the day with 10 minute intervals. I do morning power yoga, squats, leg lifts, running in place, etc. I find that working out throughout the day make me more energetic and consistent.

One of my favorite ways to stay active is by doing whatever I can when I can. Sometimes work takes place of a normal workout routine, however there are plenty of ways one can make work hours work for their workout. Every day I work, I have to climb up and downstairs numerous times. I also have to lift things so this helps keeps my arms toned. Whenever I'm not at work or the gym, I sometimes get a burst of "omg I feel lazy I have to get up!" energy and I'll sometimes do squats, jumping jacks or whatever in place. Dancing is also great because you can do that wherever you are lol :-)

My favorite way to stay active is to do Pilates. I am unable to exercise in any other way because I have Fibromyalgia, and if I do, the pain is unbearable. When my doctor told me to do Pilates, I was all for it. It has helped me to relax and stretch all of my tense muscles. I absolutely love it. I have been working up to doing Pilates 3 times a week. I don't know what I would do without it.

Love the quiet strength yoga requires. I also like when I get into the groove of a good run. Recently I have been lifting weights. Always feel great after I do any of these!

Healthy living is a huge part of my life especially when my grandmother came down with diabetes in 2008. Thus inspiring me to become even more dedicated towards my daily routine. Before I get out of bed I begin with prayer ,giving honor to where honor is due. I later incorporate some meditation, and a morning walk with my grandmother. Every Tuesday and Thursday I go to my gym for some major training. I end my week with meditation. If your mental state is not right it causes you to slip. This is a glimpse into my healthy routine!

My favorite way to stay active is by doing creative workouts during my day to day activities! They are so easy to incorporate into your day! For example, while brushing my teeth I do ab crunches. Also, while standing in the grocery check out line I to do calve raises. Also,I go to a bootcamp class, run and lift weights.

I stay active by going to the gym 4-5 days a week and doing some cardio and weights. I also take advantage of the free classes at my gym and I like to do Body Flow (Yoga, Tai Chi & Pilates) and Body Vive. The classes are wonderful and also squeeze in some Zumba or ShBam classes. I also love to take walks with my dog so we both get our exercise in :)
