Hi Hi *waves* .^_^ - I'm not sure if this question was already answered (if it was, my apologies for asking), but I just wanted to know what the difference between the Calm Yoga and Core Yoga dvd is. I would greatly appreciate a reply. With sincere thanks.

I am in agreement with some of the above advice.. start out feeding babies the green not sweeter veggies and then move to the sweeter because they will want the sweets more otherwise.
As for the children eating it was also good advice on feeding them first and feeding them dessert while you eat also works well. You might want to have a coloring book or other book for child to read in case they get finished and so they don't get bored.

You girls seem to stress a lot. As for the yoga video... Do the best you can even if there would be a before during and after video with experience, like for people like me who have never done yoga. ( my leg surely won't go up that high without a pulley!!)

As for lactation, also try warm packs on your breast it does help bring the milk down, as a mother who nursed three I didn't want to put anything in my body ( organic or not) warm showers directed at your breasts and those warm packs for muscle aches really help. Just get breast pads or you'll walk around with two wet spots in your shirt lol!

I'm a mom of 5. So making sure my kiddies eat while entertaining guests is definitely challenging but NOT impossible!. Usually what works best for me is serving my kiddies their food first. While they're eating my husband entertains, serves drinks, appetizers etc... That way one of us isn't ignoring our guests. This usually goes by pretty quickly, 20-25 minutes. My older kiddies (12,11,& 6) feed themselves & the younger ones (2 & 8mo) are fed by me. I'm lucky because the kiddies are usually cooperative & hungry, lol. Once my kiddies have eaten they remain at the table while the adults eat. I sometimes serve them they're desserts to keep them in their seats while my husband & I conversate & socialize with our guests. Sometimes the kiddies entertains us by telling stories or jokes. For me, this works well because I've fed my kiddies so theres no worry they haven't eaten during a dinner party, & our guests haven't been ignored. It is a team effort between my husband & I during dinner parties. Some parents have suggested giving a child something to distract them or keep them quiet like an electronic device. In my experience I've found by doing that my kiddies become uncooperative & so distracted they stop eating altogether. Even if we're at a restaurant I ask for my kiddies entrees to come out first. That way by the time my husband & I's entrees are served their usually done eating or almost done eating & we can enjoy our food while its still hot.

Frozen real 100% juice pops are a great alternative to freezies that are all sugar, and my son loves the juicer machine. Let them be a part of creating the snacks. Celery stick cars made with peanut butter ( if no allergy) There's lots of fun, tasty, healthy stuff out there that can be done.

Take 3 (somehow I keep wiping out my comments as I type them)

I think I laid the groundwork for healthy eating for my daughter at the time she first began eating solid foods. I'd read somewhere that kids will always like the fruits, so I decided to introduce my daughter to all of the veggies I absolutely hated as a child, namely peas and stringbeans. You should have seen the look of wonder and awe that passed on her face when she first tasted strained peas. Prior to that she had only had milk. I fully went through all of the green veggies first before introducing the sweeter ones like squash and sweet potatoes. I really believe that this is what has caused her to prefer green veggies to meat and other foods. If I am cooking spaghetti or meatloaf, she totally swipes my cutting board of bell pepper and stuffs them into her mouth.

First would love to say how beautiful you two are. I have followed you two since you were babies and now I am 46yrs old and still loves your shows, because you two are such postive people. How I get my kids to try new things is just give it too them if they don't like it now it doesn't mean they won't like it when they grow up. My fam and I are on the get fit and healthy for life 90 Day challenge a long with working out and I also promote the challenge on my web page www.rosezettamartin.myvi.net

Kids tend to get picky when they are teething and even after they get their new choppers. Textures that the liked before may be something they don't like after getting new teeth. I found that with my little one I had to make food fun. Broccoli and asparagus became "trees" and dinosaurs eat trees so she began to eat them. Also I found that a nice variety of foods on her plate helped her to try new things to eat. Some of my friends started to give their little ones green smoothies. That way they know their little one is getting enough fruits and veggies regardless if their pickiness.

I will have to admit that I am a stress eater. However, no matter how I am at eating or my husband, my 3 yr old son is forming very good eating habits. I think the only vegetable he doesn't like is asparagus. He likes every fruit but grapefruit. I am very happy with him and the way he eats.

Congratulations for following your dreams and in a healthy way you can't go wrong, I guess Cree is like most toddlers picky eaters. I think what works best for me is limiting snacks in-between meals and scheduling meals.

Once they were old enough and found it fun to count it was all about that. I would say take 3 bites and they would have fun counting each bite that they would want to keep on counting (approx. age 2-3)! When they were younger I would just do something to get them to laugh and open their mouth wide enough and sneak something in there.
